This 20 mL vial accurately simulates the drug etomidate (Amidate®) a hypnotic drug with a rapid onset of action. Nursing, EMT, EMS and Paramedic students learn a variety of skills including dosage calculations, sterile techniques of vial handling, air replacement and pressure changes, correct dosage aspiration and needle withdrawal skills. Labeled 40 mg/20 mL (2 mg/mL).
